Over the years of my scientific career I learned the power of effective communication. From giving a talk, writing a manuscript, to explaining research to a relative, communication is a daily bread for a scientist. When done properly it's a powerful tool, which allows to translate complex concepts into understandable and inspiring texts and visuals to secure funding, establish collaborations, and engage broad public.

Recognizing the power of effective writing and proper data presentation led me to starting a Figure Makeover blog. Soon it grew into this website and encouraged me to pursue career in science communication.

I now combine my passion for science and visual arts and offer services and consults in scientific writing, data visualization and graphic design.
